Does UniFi Protect need a cloud recording subscription?
Our installations record to a compatible recorder at your property. Standard local recording does not require a compulsory cloud-storage subscription. Recorder capacity and retention are planned around your cameras and recording settings.
Can I view my cameras away from home?
Remote viewing can be configured in the UniFi Protect app. It requires working connectivity at the property and on your viewing device; local recording and remote access are separate functions.
Can cameras trigger exterior lights?
Compatible detections can be used with a suitable automation setup and Shelly-controlled lighting. We assess your cameras, network and lighting equipment before proposing the integration.
